ABOUT
I love understanding the complex relationship between nutrition, lifestyle and health, and even more, I love explaining it and making it make sense to the people I work with.

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP). I offer one-to-one Nutritional Therapy consultations and have been supporting clients in clinical practice since 2013.
In my practice, I explore the potential underlying factors contributing to your health concerns, using nutrition and lifestyle to support your health and wellbeing. I explain how your current food and lifestyle choices may be impacting your health, helping you to make informed and realistic changes. Understanding these factors can help you feel more motivated and empowered to take an active role in your health.
Nutrition plans should be enjoyable and achievable, so I focus on uncomplicated delicious food to help you build my recommendations into your everyday life. I believe that good food doesn’t need complex ingredients or complicated recipes; it’s about choosing real, whole foods that nourish your body.

My Story
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by food, for pleasure in my younger years, and later for its power in restoring health.
Years of stressful work and a hectic lifestyle gradually led to a myriad of health issues during my mid-40s, including digestive problems, food intolerances, acne, fatigue, poor concentration, and frequent infections.
Conventional medicine helped some of my symptoms but I continued to experience ongoing health problems, so I explored various alternative therapies and found that nutritional therapy had the most profound effect on my health. It was a nutritional therapist who helped resolve my health problems by addressing the underlying causes of my digestive issues.
The effects of nutrition and lifestyle changes on my health were so far-reaching that I gave up my career in international conference organising and retrained as a nutritional therapist.
While my initial motivation was to help others experience the same benefits I had, my own journey has continued. As I’ve grown older, I’ve become increasingly interested in how nutrition and lifestyle can support healthy ageing, helping to maintain health, independence and quality of life. It’s a journey I now share with many of my clients.
Outside the clinic, food remains one of my greatest interests. I enjoy growing my own fruit and vegetables and creating simple, nourishing meals from seasonal ingredients. It’s a reminder that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated and it can be one of life’s pleasures. I love sharing that enthusiasm with my clients, helping them discover practical, enjoyable and sustainable ways to support their health.
