NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is an evidence-based, holistic approach to optimising and supporting health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes. Using a wide range of tools, nutritional therapists assess and identify underlying factors contributing to health concerns. As we are each unique, diet and lifestyle advice is tailored to individual health needs, rather than one-size-fits-all models of eating. It focuses on natural, unprocessed whole foods, together with the therapeutic effects of specific foods for particular health concerns.
Nutritional Therapy can be used on its own or alongside mainstream medical care and other complementary healthcare therapies.
Why Nutritional Therapy?
- Are you feeling overwhelmed by the amount of nutrition advice available and confused by the conflicting messages?
- Have you tried different ways of eating or the latest “pill-for-an-ill” supplements but still haven’t seen the improvements you were hoping for?
- Have you been diagnosed with a health condition and want to understand how nutrition and lifestyle may help support your health?
- Do you no longer feel as well as you used to, even though there’s no obvious explanation?
Whether you’re looking to support your long-term health, feel as well as you possibly can, improve your energy, manage your weight or take a natural approach to supporting a health concern, nutritional therapy offers personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance tailored to your individual needs.
What areas of health can nutritional therapy support?

While nutritional therapists work across many different areas of health, my practice focuses on supporting clients in mid to later life who want to use nutrition and lifestyle to support their long-term health, reduce their risk of age-related conditions, or support their health following a diagnosis. Is Nutritional Therapy right for you?
Nutritional therapy can help you take charge of your health, bringing about long-term improvements, but it is not a quick fix. It requires a willingness to participate actively in following the recommendations. In my experience, people who are willing to make changes and put the recommendations into practice are more likely to see the benefits. However, if change feels overwhelming, it is possible to make changes incrementally and even small adjustments can quickly lead to improvement.
I work with you at your pace.
If you’re still wondering whether nutritional therapy is right for you, understanding my Approach may help you decide.
